Our “Modular Prototype Pontoon Development in ISO Container Standard” project was entitled to receive support from TÜBİTAK on March 9, 2020 within the scope of 1501 Industry R&D Projects Support Program.

Within the “Removable Lock System” to be developed within the scope of the project, two 20’ prototype pontoon modules, qualified with ISO standards, will be produced.

CSC (Container Safety Convention) can be transported quickly and cheaply by standard container transportation vehicles from road or sea. Container transportation, which can reduce mobilization costs by up to 10 times, will bring to reach remote areas, as well as advantages for closed seas and lakes without a sea connection.

“Modular Floating Systems”, which can be interlocked and transformed into a desired size, shape or function of a marine vehicle, provide significant savings in operating and maintenance costs, even in a very short period of time, thanks to the ease of storage and maintenance.

By its unique structural combination details and mechanical design, the “Advens Removable Lock System” prevents protrusion on the surface of the modules and thanks to this feature, CSC is entitled.

The locks, which can be produced in the desired capacity and size, can be easily removed even after being exposed to heavy operation conditions thanks to their physical properties, and will be affected by the corrosion and rust at least.

The project is planned to be completed by the end of 2020.
